The Chevrolet Cruze finished its first racing season in the WTCC conquering the seventh win of its young career, as Rob Huff mastered a flag-to-flag win in race 1 in the last event of the 2009 calendar. The World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) is an international Touring Car championship organized by Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The series are based all around the world with races in Great Britain, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, Brazil, Mexico, Morroco and Macau.
Last year’s WTCC Champion Yvan Muller will drive a Chevrolet Cruze in the 2010 World Touring Car Championship. The presence of Yvan Muller, alongside Alain Menu and Rob Huff, in the 2010 driver line-up, represents a significant strengthening of the Chevrolet team and underlines the commitment of Chevrolet to the WTCC.
Yvan Muller, 40, from Altkirch (Alsace), is one of the most successful and reputed drivers in the touring car scene, having won the WTCC title in 2008 and been a runner-up in the series this year and in 2007. In his career, he has also conquered other significant touring car titles, including the French Super Tourisme in 1995 and the BTCC in 2003. In total, Yvan claims 56 wins in international touring car series since 1994.
Cherolet cruze was launched in India in October and the response so far has been found overwhelming. The company has delivered 812 vehicles in the month of October and has 3500 orders pending although the production capacity is 500 to 600 vehicles a month. The Cruze offers everything any discerning Indian car buyer could want in a Sedan at a price point that represents uncontestable value for money.

The Chevrolet Cruze received the maximum five-star China New Car Assessment Program (CNCAP) rating, while its sibling, the Holden Cruze, received the maximum five-star Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) rating, which is the highest score for any vehicles in its segment.
