Cama Motors floats 3 arms for 360-degree facility for high-end cars

One of the oldest auto retailers in Gujarat, Cama Motors, has floated three auto divisions to provide a 360 degree facility for cars with a focus on high-end vehicles. The company has flagged Cama Signature, Cama Studio and Cama Care in association with Magus Cars, Lorinser Sports Service Company and Carz Spa respectively. While Gujarat is the prime market for Cama, the company will expand its presence in other states through tie-ups. While Cama Signature would facilitate hassle-free import of luxury cars and SUVs of foreign origin like Land Cruiser, Hummer, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Chrysler, Cadillac, Lexus et al, Cama Studio will be offering car accessories and add-ons for luxury cars. Cama Care would be involved in automobile beautification and preservation of high-end cars. In its process to expand its infrastructure and retail operations for its new business divisions, Cama Motors Private Limited will be investing around Rs. 50-60 crore in the next one year. The company will also offer supply and serving facilities for various multinational brands.

This is for the first time in Gujarat, a luxury car dealer has come up with a unique concept of providing new and pre-owned luxury cars, high-end refurbish and design studio with repair and maintenance centre to provide end to end solutions," Cama Motors CMD Jehangir Cama told reporters in Ahmedabad. “We have 20 people in our after sales department here but through tie ups, we will bring in other technical staff and spare parts as and when required. We intend to set up our second workshop facility at SG Highway, on 5,000 yards of land within the next one year,” he said. He also highlighted the fact by saying "Even as our dealership ties with Mercedes-Benz India ends, the entire business proposition of Cama Motors has now shifted from being company centric to being a product centric. Our decision to go in for a makeover for Cama Motors is based on our thorough study of automobiles market and innate understanding of a car lover's mind."
