
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the revamped version of its bestselling Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Toyota Innova which has improved interior and exterior features to further enhance its appeal to customers. The company claims that the improved version ensures an enjoyable drive, sense of superiority, exclusivity and enhanced comfort & safety.
The new Innova returns best fuel mileage in its segment with 13.7 km /litre (as per standard ARAI test conditions) and is available in four new metallic colours: Light Blue Metallic, Grey Mica Metallic, Silver Mica Metallic and Dark Red Metallic. The new Innova has been launched at an introductory price ranging from Rs. 766,000 to Rs. 1,106,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Innova comes with a proven, dependable engine platform in D-4D diesel engine and VVT-i petrol engine and has a turning radius of 5.4m, which facilitates easy driving in city as well as highway conditions.
Announcing the launch of the new Innova, Hiroshi Nakagawa, managing director, TKM, said that the Innova is a proven success in India and the new version is aimed at further delighting its customers with its advanced styling, luxurious interiors, enhanced comfort and safety. The New Innova offers aerodynamic styling on the exteriors with a stylish front grill and bumper along with redesigned rear combination lights, alloy wheels and new color wooden panels. The newly introduced rear sensor will help customers navigate reversing/ parking with ease, he concluded.
New and enhanced interior features include - automatic climate control (auto air-conditioning), optitron meter with illumination control,multi information display (distance travelled and average / real-time fuel consumption indicator) and elegant new interior cabin colour. Besides, it offers passenger safety which is best in class with airbags (for both driver & passenger) and anti-lock Braking system. Oher discernible features include the new steering wheel controls (for audio and MID), plush fabric seats and door trims. According to Sandeep Singh, deputy managing director, Marketing, TKM, the company is focused on constantly upgrading its products based on customer feedback. The new Innova, with its elegant styling and comfort, in addition to its time-tested quality and reliability, will attract customers from both the MPV and sedan segment. It will be launched with targeted customer-specific marketing initiatives and sales promotions activities, he concluded.
